    We saw firsthand real estate lending was not helping real estate investors, if anything - it was a thorn in their side. We built Harmonial to change that, by upgrading how the whole system works.

    The way real estate investors get loans is broken

    Every lender and loan program offers real estate investors different pro's and con's on every deal. Investors don't see all the options because it takes too much work to relay to multiple lenders. Calls, texts, emails, portals, repeating the same information, and hoping the "best" deal shows itself to you, and then actually closes!

    You either manage a litany of lenders yourself... or accept whatever "your guy" will give you because its easiest even if its not the best. One is a pain in the neck, one risks leaving money and reliability on the table.

    With the market fragmented into a different interaction with every lender, there's inevitably friction, inefficiency, and a lack of transparency. This means higher cost and effort for lenders to fund the deals they want, which also means higher cost and effort for borrowers.

    A "bad" player on either side of the market can bounce around and "trick" new counterparts on the other side. And, a "good" player on either side of the market, doesn't get easily elevated and rewarded for it.

    The right way to fix this is with one neutral system to feed transparency and efficiency in the market, automatically driven by data, with a layer of human relationship and expertise.

    Lenders get the flow they want with lower costs in and friction in sales, marketing, processing, and UW. If they perform well for their clients in terms and service, that will show to the market and they will continue to be rewarded for it.

    Borrowers see the best loans for them without extra work that takes them away from their real work. It's automatic matchmaking. They do the work once in Harmonial and get to work with whatever lender or loan type is best for them, right from one place. They are informed by objective, neutral data on each loan and lender's various pros and cons.

    Both sides of the market get market driven feedback on what would lead to their desired outcome, and the whole market benefits and becomes more efficient. Harmonial helps make real estate investment loans a win-win, putting lenders and borrowers on the same team again.

    We've lived inside the system — and saw where it breaks

    Before building Harmonial, our team helped build and scale a national real estate lender. We worked with thousands of investor deals across fix-and-flip, bridge, and rental loans, originating $100's of millions per year.

    We saw patterns repeat:

    • Deals approved on paper but retraded late, the investors we loved saw worse service and deals
    • Lenders were beholden to their capital providers (Wall St) first and foremost, meaning they couldn't be "borrower first"
    • Borrowers stuck with one lender anyway because they're such a pain to switch, or spent way too much energy working multiple lenders for the right deal

    The problem wasn't a lack of lenders and borrowers. It was that there was no central, efficient, and neutral platform that's job was to serve the market above all else, rewarding the best players on both sides with betters, faster deals.

    Investors don't need another lender, they need one place for clarity and leverage on every loan.

    What investors actually need is a way to:

    JJ was previously an investor at Omega Venture Partners, a growth stage VC firm focused on AI and finance. Before that, he was an investor and operations lead at Techstars, a generalist startup accelerator. He started his career in sales and sales ops & strategy at Tealium.

    JJ cares deeply about entrepreneurs, and wanted to use his startup building skillset to support them directly building Harmonial, a platform that brings them better funding with less work.

    Jared has spent the last decade building and scaling production critical systems across real estate, fintech, and logistics, including senior engineering and architecture roles at Backflip, ForeFlight, and Realtor.com, and leadership roles as Director of Engineering and CTO at Gembah.

    With deep expertise in system architecture, automation, and scalable decisioning, Jared removes friction from complex processes and makes execution easier on the whole market. Earlier in his career, he practiced law and served as an Assistant District Attorney, bringing a unique blend of technical and compliance awareness to Harmonial's platform.

    Wyatt leads Investor Success at Harmonial, working directly with investors to move deals from quote to close. Previously, at Backflip, he partnered with hundreds of real estate investors on reliable financing and execution, closing every type of complicated deal possible as the investor advocate. He brings a strong background in customer success from high growth tech companies like Spiff (acquired by Salesforce).

    Known for true partnership, clear communication, and fast follow through, Wyatt focuses on keeping deals on track, setting accurate expectations, and making the closing process as smooth as possible for investors. As a former D1 athlete and team captain, he is always focused on quarterbacking your deal across the finish line as a team!
